The rain stopped just before dawn.
The gloaming began to lighten.
Wrapped in a long black coat and armed with a clear umbrella, a thermos of tea, and a plastic Lisa Frank backpack filled with ritual goodies, I sailed across the city to Land’s End and plunged into the woods with three magical moon women.
We tramped through the chill morning air, deeply breathing the sweet exhalation of trees and the wet of seaside soil. We saw flowering plants, twisted trees, and faces drawn on stumps.
Down a wide stair we walked until we came to a narrow dirt path on a cliff high above the sea.
And then.
Follow the undulating path, climb down some rocks, round a corner and you’ve found the Labyrinth of Land’s End.
The crows cry, the gulls circle. You’re utterly wind-blown and totally amazed.
OH YEAH
It’s time for…
Ritual at Land’s End
Joy. Merriment. Poetry.
Wishes written and burned.
A cauldron in a cliffside shelter.
A thermos of my Celestial Love Moonblessed Tea, fiery and flowery and exquisite in the Pacific wind.
Cinnamon donuts.
(Fortuitous, for cinnamon “heats up” magical work. Good for speedy manifestation of wishes!)
Tiny tarot cards, one for each of us and one for the labyrinth.
The perfect way to spend the dawning of a New Moon morning.
This is the work I’m here to do.
I’m here to invite moon women to get down with the magic.
STARSHIP EARTH CAN I GET A MAGIC GRUNT
(uhhnnnn yeah)
I’m here to help you connect with your own magic, baby kitten.
Interested in joining me for a live ritual?
I’ve got a wonderful-delicious-delightful announcement to make.
SO SOON IT WILL BE.
(Like, next-week-soon.)
Stay tuned, sweet chickadees!
